Our client is an exciting communications company based in Hampshire and they are further expanding their team of Business Development Managers. You will need to be able to think your way inside Unified Communications and recognise its potential to transform customers’ businesses. To own your target area and consistently find New Business opportunities and become the specialist your area calls upon for their communication requirements. Your role will be win new business and account manage those won accounts throughout their lifecycle.
You should be:
* Enthusiastic with a genuine interest in B2B Telecommunications.
* Able to manage their own leads as well as those we will supply.
* Motivated by servicing and developing existing customers as well as securing new customers.
* Financially astute and able to develop solutions for customers that are both advantageous to them and profitable for us.
* A sophisticated negotiator and able to close deals while maintaining a long term relationship.
* Multi product sell
* Manage customer records via CRM
* Build and manage sales pipeline
* Presenting solutions in written or oral reports.
You must have:
* A clean driving licence
* Previous sales experience/knowledge of telecommunications/IT market is advantageous but not essential
* An opportunistic mind-set and helpful attitude
* Excellent interpersonal skills (F2F & Telephone)
* Drive & tenacity
* IT Literate
