Fixed term contract for 12 months
We have an opening within our business improvement team in Portsmouth for an experienced business analyst. This is a full time, fixed term role for 12 months.
As a business analyst, you’ll help to support the business with the continuous improvement of our processes and systems. Challenging existing practises, suggesting better ways of working, supporting change delivery and acting as the link between the business and IT to get things done. You’ll also investigate various business functions, processes and barriers to service improvement, identifying new opportunities for innovative, lean ways of working.
You’ll gather and document project requirements using interviews, document and data-flow analysis, requirements workshops, work shadowing, surveys, site visits and other methodology. Being a member of the team supporting major company-wide changes/system projects, you’ll be a key reference point for colleagues across the business. Offering support and guidance for systems and supporting superusers.
You’ll have a relevant qualification in business analysis techniques, however we’ll consider qualified by experience. A thorough knowledge of business analysis techniques and processes is essential. You’ll also have advanced skills in the use of IT software, to include Microsoft Office and Visio. And importantly you’ll have the passion to be an ambassador for leading and promoting change!
