I am currently recruiting for a company that is growing rapidly and are currently operating in a market that is forecast to grow massively over the next few years. You will play a key role in dealing with their customers, who are located all over the world. Travelling on site, you will be providing technical support, with your broad range of technical experience, encompassing electronic, mechanical and electrical elements. You will be involved in installation, commissioning, and testing of complex engineering systems, and could be working in locations from Asia to South America.
We are looking for candidates who are happy to spend around 6 months of the year outside of the UK, in around 2 week periods. You must be able to travel freely without any restrictions.
The salary for this role is in the region of £35k p.a, and additionally a number of travel allowances.
+ Be the main customer point of contact, resolving issues, providing support and advice, and ensuring health and safety hits relevant requirements
+ Broad engineering background, encompassing electrical, mechanical, and electronics
+ Experience carrying out tests, diagnosing problems, and being the first port of call for any teething problems
+ Experience installing and commissioning machinery
+ Experience integrating products into customer systems
+ Excellent communication skills
