Business Development Manager - Pumps 35k-37k+company car Hampshire/Avon/Devon
My Client provides temporary pumping solutions with a particular emphasis on sewage pumping and other more complicated specialist pump applications.
They currently have an excellent opportunity for an ambitious and energetic Business Development Manager to help expand their clientele. You will be a key company player and will have the dedication to create and apply an effective strategy.
The goal is to drive sustainable financial growth through boosting hires and forging strong relationships with new clients.
Reporting to National Sales Manager your responsibilities will be to:
*Conduct research to identify new markets and customer needs
*Arrange business meetings with prospective clients
*Promote the company's products/services addressing or predicting clients' objectives
*Provide trustworthy feedback and after-sales support
*Build long-term relationships with new and existing customers
Experience required for this role:
*Proven working experience as a business development manager, sales executive or a relevant role within the pumps industry.
*Proven sales track record in the pump/hire industry
*Useful previous employment within the following companies:
GAP Group, HSS, Selwood Pumps, SLD Pumps, Hydrainer, Pump Supplies, Xylem, SPP Pumps
Rotating equipment (Generators/compressors)
Experience in customer support:
Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software (e.g. Pipedrive)
Proficiency in English
Communication and negotiation skills
Ability to build rapport
Time management and planning skills
