Due to our continued growth, we are recruiting for an additional 5 Customer Service Consultants to join our modern Head Office as part of our Customer Service team supporting our customer base within the travel sector. This is an excellent opportunity to join an award winning, industry leader within this sector delivering exceptional customer service primarily to your assigned region. This is NOT a telesales role! We want strong customer service professionals who want to work within the travel sector and by providing excellent information and service will ultimately secure customer bookings.
You will be focused on providing the highest levels of customer service to our new and existing customers increasing revenue through the conversion of customer enquiries generated from the website or advertising. Whilst also offering a professional customer service to our existing customers responding to their queries. Therefore, the role is a mixture of traditional telephone based customer service and incoming sales enquiries, providing potential customers with in depth product information and details in order to secure a travel booking suited to their requirements.

To pro-actively promote additional services in order to maximise the generation of additional revenue for the business
Communicate the features and benefits of our products
Actively chase all personal and assigned leads generated and attempt to convert to bookings
Use own travel experience to assist with customer queries and seek to understand each customers travels needs
Professionally handle incoming requests from customers and ensure that requests are resolved both promptly and thoroughly keeping service at forefront at all times
Use sound judgement to manage difficult customer situations, to respond promptly to the needs of the customer and solicit feedback to improve service
To execute all assigned tasks efficiently, ensuring team targets and KPI’s are met
Participate in trade shows and customer events as required
Ensuring a customer focused approach is adopted in all assigned responsibilities
A flexible attitude in the undertaking of all tasks is paramount
Additional tasks as requested from time to time to assist in the overall service delivery of Explore
In order to be successful you do not need to have come from a travel background but must have an interest in this sector and/or have travelled extensively yourself. You should have proven telephone based customer service skills or have worked within a sales related role eg. Sales Executive, Internal Sales, retail sales, leisure sales or hospitality sales.
