Technical Administrator / Planning Co-ordinator

We are a highly successful manufacturer of complex electro-mechanical equipment. Our products are used in a diverse number of industries and we are known for our innovative design.
Our manufacturing and planning team supports us with our engineering projects of varying size for the business and we are currently looking for an Administrator to undertake a varied key role within the business.
You will need to have both good coordination / administration / planning skills coupled with confident customer facing skills as your role will be to provide support to the manufacturing office, assisting with monitoring demand for the both our UK and overseas manufacturing plants.
This will include tracking orders, monitoring Purchase Orders (PO's), maintaining files, raising quotations, attending weekly update progress meetings through to handling queries or enquiries from other departments.
To succeed in this varied Technical Administration role, you will need to have:
An administration, order processing / sales administration / technical administration / project co-ordination or similar background with:
A working knowledge of ERP / MRP or SAP systems
Working knowledge of MS Excel
Be happy working as part of a team environment
Good communication and organisational skill
Previous knowledge of production processes within a business desirable but not essential
Experience in managing a variety of tasks simultaneously and able to prioritise accordingly
