We’re on the hunt for an Office Manager/Administrator, for a friendly accountancy company based in Reading. They sure know their numbers, but they also know their people. They’re a down to earth bunch, who make accountancy simple for their clients to understand while remaining professional and getting a whole lot done. Not only do they provide accountancy, tax and payroll services to UK businesses, they also take the time to get to know their clients, offering a business advisory service, where they help them achieve their goals. So if you’re ready to accomplish some of your own goals this year and a new office job is on the cards, read on!
We need a confident Office Manager who will be the managing director’s right-hand man/woman. You’ll manage her diary, meeting room calendar and carry out other PA duties. You’ll greet clients with a smile and your warm and welcoming personality, make you the perfect person to answer the phone and have a chat with clients about their business. You will apply those outstanding customer service skills and be comfortable chasing clients for missing paperwork. Some of your time will be spent booking meetings, carrying out company secretarial work and completing general admin, like scanning and typing documents, sorting the post – all of which you should be a pro at, because we need someone armed with office experience. You’re not the type to shy away from technology as you will be tasked to sign clients up on various systems.
A key aspect of your role will be keeping the office running, taking responsibility for managing the workflow and job cycles: due in – in process – completed. So it’s vital you have your organisational and management skills down to a tee. You will also be required to treat the front office, meeting room and kitchen like your home - nice and tidy and well maintained (one would hope!).
Are you?A friendly relationship builder who can communicate professionally with businesses across a wide range of industries Someone with office and customer service experience who can meet deadlines and organise and manage the workload with military precision Equipped with GCSE Maths and English and know your way around a computer A driver ready to make use of the free onsite parking (a driving licence is essential)
If you answered yes to the above and can handle business like a boss, we’d love to hear from you!
