Hook, Hampshire - Business Development Manager - £28K to £34K - Electronics Industry
Our client is an electronic solutions provider, specialising in contract electronics design and manufacturing for world-leading customers in high reliability industries. Founded in 1989, the company has grown to become a leading electronics provider to aerospace, defence, security and energy industries. They also serve a wide customer base within automotive, telecoms, medical, satellite and industrial sectors both in the UK and across the globe.
Your role is to lead a team of customer account managers, ensuring profitability and continued business growth. You will assist in setting sales targets and forecasts and participate in identification of business improvement opportunities. You will be responsible for supplying financial and statistical data to senior management/directors as required. On site coordination of customer visits is required within the role and you will also be expected to lead on key strategic accounts. Convential people management responsibilities are a feature of the position including staff reviews and formal objective setting for your team. You will also provide support for trade exhibitions and corporate events when required.
+ Oversight and leadership of all customer account managers
+ Assisting in the setting of company sales targets and forecasts
+ Compilation and presentation of key financial and statistical sales data
+ Management of key strategic accounts
Skills and Experience:
+ Higher level business qualification desired
+ Experience of managing and developing a team, preferably within the high reliability electronics industry
+ Manufacturing background required with knowledge of production management systems
+ Demonstrable experience working in a sales/customer service environment
The salary is between £28K and £34K commensurate with experience. Security clearance is required and candidates must be prepared to submit to this process.
