Following successful growth in 2018 and 2019, our Alton based client who Manufacturer, Repair, and Calibrate test instrumentation across a broad sector of industries, typically the Air Conditioning, Transport, Food Processing, Catering and the Pharmaceutical industry are, looking to recruit a Solutions Support Engineer who will be responsible to provide software and hardware support within our Solution Services Department. The role responsibilities include providing project support for hardware and software, some on-site customer visits will also be required. Other duties include Project Management support, helping with the setting up of digitised workflow programs in our Solutions platform and the setting up of projects within our calibration management software. There will also be a training aspect to the roll, training end users and internal staff. Key Responsibilities include: Product software support for new and existing customersCarry out on and off-site customer trainingPre-Sale project support including on-site customer visitsTraining of new staff on software and productsOn site temperature/humidity mappingIT Knowledge e.g.; Network mapping, operational platforms, problem solving skills Requirements: Hands-on experience with MS Office and especially ExcelSomeone who can resolve queries manually as well as over the telephone.Solid organisational and time-management skillsConfident and professional telephone mannerMotivated with an aptitude to learnAttention to detailAbility to learn about a technical productFull Clean UK Driving Licence They are offering a salary of £24,000 working Monday to Friday 8.30am - 5pm. Training will be provided for the successful candidate and there will potentially be the occasional visit away which will require overnight stay.
