New Business Software Sales Executive to sell ERP solutions for a thriving company based near Fleet and convenient for the M3. They are looking for that certain someone who they will want to hire as soon as you walk through their door - a dynamic, energetic, enthusiastic, intelligent and driven salesperson who wants to earn some serious money in a mid-sized independent ERP software company and wants to get the job done and done well. You will have a few years' experience under your belt, successfully selling application software - ideally SaaS / Cloud solutions - if you have worked with ERP type software, that would be helpful. But your attitude and personality will be more important. Starting salary to £50k with a car allowance and double OTE. The role covers a nationwide territory; initially you will need to be willing to start off office based until you've learnt the ropes and got to grips with ERP solutions. Then you would probably spend 1-2 days a week in the office, 2 out on client site and maybe one day from home. Ideally you will live within 60 -90 minutes' drive of Fleet on the Hampshire / Surrey / Berkshire borders. The job is to sell mainstream ERP solutions, on-premise and SaaS (as well as licenses, support contracts etc), that cover things like accounting, fixed assets, manufacturing, sales & CRM, Stock & Inventory, Warehouse Management, Purchasing, BI, Payroll, Job Costing, Mobile Apps, eCommerce and Document Management. You need to understand the requirements and fit the systems into what that customer wants - so this sales role is about targeting the right clients and qualifying them in, all the way through the process. You need to be able to help your clients understand their ERP journey. So selling here involves really getting inside the customer's business, listening well, and it would suit a Software Sales Executive who really enjoys a challenge. The role is focused on new business, so you are not scared of drumming up leads, getting through the gatekeepers, giving great demos, being persistent and patient and travelling the whole sales journey from cradle to grave. There is plenty of help from an excellent marketing team and the pre-sales consultants. A good track record of sales and success in selling application software is essential and knowledge of the SaaS / Cloud market is very desirable. You are activity driven, dynamic, organised, hungry and ambitious. You have sold application software, so that could be ERP, or legal or accounting software, property or construction software, document management, performance management, field service software, or anything similar.
